Here’s what we’ve been up to for the past six months! Our Electoral Work Recap highlights who we cooperated with, reached out to, and empowered in our attempts to ensure Muslim Communities in NC were able to vote in November. Between August and November 2020, Muslim Women For:
- Sent 18,000 texts and made 6,000 calls
- Worked with 60+ organizers to host 4 Phone Banking events
- Hired 3 Electoral Organizing Fellows and 1 Digital Organizer
- Coordinated with 19 Local Mosques and 13 Community Leaders
to make SURE Muslim Voices are heard in North Carolina.
We’re honored to have participated to the overwhelming, record-breaking, 75% voter turnout rate in NC!
