During Labor Day 2018, Muslim Women For took femmes and women of color from North Carolina to Washington DC for a weekend of social justice leadership trainings composed of curriculum developed by Muslim Women For.
Our very first cohort trained on community organizing, intersectionality, feminism, movement building, advocacy, and self-defense. This retreat is part of Muslim Women For’s greater commitment to developing fem leaders with an intersectional feminist interfaith social justice lens.
We believe that women and femmes are the future and we will continue to advocate for them, protect them, challenge them to raise their voices, and uplift their contributions.
Thank you to Nida of AzizAllam Photography for the photos! We’d also like to thank all the trainers that attended

Long time supporter, and thought I’d drop a comment.
Your organization’s wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t mind me asking what theme you’re using?
(and don’t mind if I steal it? :P)
I just launched my small businesses site –also built in wordpress
like yours– but the theme slows (!) the site down quite
a bit.
In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for “royal cbd” on Google (would appreciate any feedback)
– it’s still in the works.
Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of yourself during the coronavirus scare!
